The Florida Regional Convention of Narcotics Anonymous (FRCNA) Cleantime Countdown 2008. Due to the video length limitation of 10 min, I was able to upload the last 10 mins only (Years 40 down to 11 had already been called and the crowed was wild). Well over 1000 recovering addicts were in this room.

AA is obsolete and antiquated how many true alcoholics are there nowdays?my point was that unless they modify their primary purpose to include all substances, then their demise is immenent.
. NA caters to all substance abusers.
Their founder Bill Wilson died living in addcition, yeah he didnt drink, but he took acid and smoked himself to an early grave (begging for a drink on his deathbed) As far as me being a newcommer..ive been clean since 1988.
when the traditions were created, the internet did not exist, however, in the spirit of the traditions, the internet does apply along with press radio TV and film.
Ratinal thought is one of the things that seperates us from chimps.
I guess if I spoke for NA, you might be correct. However, I really do not think I am that important to speak for NA. This is simply my experience. Hope you keep coming back. Don’t leave before the miracle happens dude.

True, if it was not for AA there would be no steps & no program; however, I must say that my recovery speaks when I let others find recovery wherever they find it. NA began because AA didn’t want the addicts in their meetings. Things are very different now; very few “Real Alcoholics” remain-most have used at least some other substance and some point-AA is more accepting today. For me, I don’t care where, or in what program someone finds their peace, only that they stay and DO find their peace.
rockyroad4003 doesn’t realize that A.A.for sure deserves a huge thank you as God /Higherpower deserves all the credit! I once heard A.A.and N.A.differ as a regular water hose that does not reach the distance as a hose nozzle does once attached to the hose!

AA will eventually fizzle out. NA ranks are growing. Think about it..when you take a drug test does it come out clean? or clean and sober>?
