After reading the reviews by the morons you have posted I decided that my opinion is a must. First of all, if you want to hear each song in their entirety, buy some early albums, not “Strays”! The movie shows what it’s like to be a rock star on the road better than any other I have seen. The backstage footage or “interview” scenes are the most candid or personal that I have EVER seen in a movie that follows a band. The concert footage is absolutely superb with it’s filmic blend of multi-medium formats and the way they used video for the off stage footage and film for the stage was amazing. In my humble opinion, I would rate this as one of the top five best rock and roll documentaries ever produced and of course, that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong…

Other reviewers have complained about the video not living up to the “hype”. Well thank god I never heard any of that hype because my expectations must have been lower and thus I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I went to the show in Las Vegas at the Alladin theater and was happy to see footage of that show included. Much like Soul Kiss and the Gift, this video is demented and all over the map. It’s much less a movie and much more a highlight reel of the Relapse Tour.
There is not a lot of official Jane’s paraphernalia out there so for the real Jane’s fan this is a must. Drop the expectations, sit back and enjoy this one with some fine wine and it’s sure to bring peace to your mind.

I just have to say this is an awesome dvd,
there is heaps of footage and yes it does cut in and out of songs
but thats part of what gives it a really cool acid trip, jumpy time
vibe….
As for having flea on bass i think it makes it all the more
interesting, and to the person who complained about it being a
circus act, i thought that was such a cool performance idea,
having strippers on the stage, it really added to their kinda
sexual theme they had going…
I loved this DVD and thought it was amazing…
watch the bonus content too theres great stuff in there even if
the picture quality isn’t so great.

My review of Flea’s Addiction – One Doof:
Yes the fact that every song cuts off bothers me and looks like im not the only one. What bothers me more is Flea. He is a total ass-clown as usual. Dont was you money unless you love Flea jumping around like the DOOF that he is for 90 minutes. The music is awesome and they do sound great minus that fact that the songs do cut off at the best point every time. Yuck. The only use I can see for this video is for Flea to show his kids someday that he was in a real band for three days. Hey Flea! Your in Janes Addiction and your only comments are “I like this tour sometimes but kinda dont like it other times, uh and I like wanna go home sometimes too” and dont forget the insightful “I want my vegetable sandwich!” Oh God and dont forget poor poor Dave. Dave I ask you – is this the way that you want your fans to remember you? A completely pathetic and helpless junkie? No wonder Eric left. Perry surprisingly seems to have his s**t together. Steven is the most positive figure as usual.
